The following are some before and after interior design job photos from a job by Marsha Yessick that we did recently. I have placed some of the before photos adjacent to the after photos of those same rooms.
There are also some other after photos later on in the article.
To start, we have Embry Yessick’s dog named Skyla who accompanied us on this grand adventure:
Skyla is drinking from her water bowl, and is ready to take on the day, it seems. 🙂
Notice Skyla in the background. This shot is from when we first arrived at the residence, and it shows how we arrange our smaller items and lamps from which we pull items for the job.
Before and After Interior Design Photos
^This is a before photo of the office space.
The client left all of her art and accessories out in this room and the living room, so before we could start, we had to move everything out of the way.
And here’s what the office looked like after we finished:
Notice the screen on the left combined with smart art, furniture, and accessory placements.
And here’s a before photo of the dining room:
All of the client’s stuff was piled on the table, so some of the stuff we had to move to the garage.
Here’s the after photo off the dining room:
Marsha and Embry made good accessory choices, and they really made this^ room look good.
And here is a before photo of the living room, which was full of art, furniture, and accessories when we got there:
Some of this stuff we used, however, some of it just didn’t work in the design scheme.
The after photos of the living room show the sectional sofa that Marsha chose, as well as the coffee table and lamps that were brought from our warehouse:
The sofa goes with the walls really well, and the color red was incorporated into the room to create balance.
A stylish look with a modern appeal.^
This is a before photo of the master bedroom:
Pretty much all that was in there was the bed and a little end table.
And just look how this room was transformed by Marsha and Embry:
With custom bedding, window treatments, nice metallic lamps, and good art choices, this room turned out wonderfully.
More After Interior Design Photos
This is a view looking into the guest bedroom:
Black and white were used with this gray scale color pallete.
Another example of custom bedding, along with matching art and table skirt.
Notice the appropriate use of the color red in this^ room.
This is the den after we finished:
The metal wall art works really well, and the red (which is the unifying design element) is the main color of this room.
Here is the other side of the den, with fireplace and a nice abstract art selection for over the mantle:
Notice the tiger box on the mantle, this was one of our designers’ favorite accessories that the client had for us to use in the design.
This was a fun and challenging job because there was so much of the client’s own stuff from which we had to choose. Marsha is a pro at incorporating key items from the client’s own possessions into the design.
