Layering Patterns Like a Pro

One of the most important design elements in a space is
the ability to mix and layer patterns as it adds depth,
personality and will elevate your room from basic to
breathtaking.

Here at Yessick’s we usually start with a neutral base. We
then advise to “layer with intention”. Not every aspect of a
design needs to “shout”. Decide what items in your room
are the focal point(s) and then support these items with
patterns such as florals, geometrics, stripes, and texture.
The scale of patterns is very important for a harmonious
result.
