The Magic of Throw Pillows 

Although pillows are a small part of a room design, they are mighty. They add polish, warmth and personality to any upholstery on which they are placed. Throw pillows are the “jewelry” of a space and can completely transform a room. They are every bit as impressive and important as any other accessory or artwork in a space. They are also the easiest and most cost-effective way to refresh a room. 

Although there are no exact rules when it comes to pillows, we usually use a size 22″x 22″ pillow for each end of a sofa and a then a center pillow in a contrasting fabric. For beds, a large, oversized lumbar in a beautiful fabric is often enough. Many homeowners do not want numerous pillows on a bed that have to be removed each night at bedtime.
